HOAM THE HO-AM FOUNDATION

The Samsung Ho-Am Prize is presented each year on June 1st following a highly formal year-long process that includes nomination of candidates, establishment of Selection Committees, screening and evaluation, and announcement of selected candidates.

  Nomination Forms sent out

  Official nomination forms are sent to selected persons at major university, research institutes and relevant organizations around the world.

• 

  AUGUST ~ OCTOBER
  Submission of Nomination

  The Samsung Ho-Am Prize Committee accepts candidate nominations by Oct. 31 of each year by regular mail or email.

• 

  NOVEMBER ~ MARCH
  Screening and Evaluation

  All candidates' achievements are carefully scrutinized and evaluated by the Selection Committee and foreign advisory scholars.

  APRIL
  Announcement of Laureates

  Announcement of laureates are made in media following final evaluations and decisions by the Samsung Ho-Am Prize Committee.
